Hello world! Caro here. Same me, new address. Or as I like to think of it, a new home that feels like an old home. Something about launching this site right now just feels right. A lot of people have asked me over the years if I have a website or blog, or even just assumed that I have always had one. I’ve lent my voice to the articles you’ve seen on the Elana Lyn blog and the Six Degrees Society blog, but I’ve never had a space beyond Instagram that’s been completely my own, and I could not be more excited to be here and everywhere via this new home.

To be honest, this project has been on my mind for a while now, and has been endlessly intimidating to me. Putting your name on something like this is inherently believing that it is relevant and interesting and consumable, and that feels like a pretty big risk. I’ve been asking myself a lot of questions lately about what good content means to me, and what my purpose would be in crafting my own space in this crazy digital world that we live in. But no matter how far down the rabbit hole I go, what I come back to time and again is the conversations that I have with my friends and my family, and the things we talk about, and the things that I, personally, get excited about. Because at the end of the day, I’m writing like I’m talking to an old friend. I’m sharing something I’ve seen or done or tasted or experienced that has sparked something in me, hoping that it will spark something in someone else as well. It’s deeply personal. And that’s what it’s all about, right? So I just wanted to say a big thank you out to the universe for going on this adventure with me. We shall see what’s around the next bend once we get there.
